Apology
Hey what's up I am Great-K8 and I want to apologize to you because that was an extremely long post. If you haven't already, you still have to read it. Speaking of reading, I just finished the seventh book in a series! It was the last book, and I had been killing to get it. No, it was not the Harry Potter series. It is a series by Margret Peterson Haddix called Among the ... . Each book's title is Among The something, like Among the Hidden or Among the Free. If you haven't already, you seroiusly need to read them because once I picked them up, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't put them down. So you should all read them!!! Hey Peoples and Persons!
Hey Peoples and Persons I am Great-K8 and today I am writing completely about Pebblesml15 otherwise known as Maddiecat605! She is completely awesome! I am going to tell you three stories about how we met, and one of them is going to be true, and two of them are going to be false. This game is called one truth and two fictions.
Here is the first story:
It was a beautiful morning, and I had to go to a writing class. I hated the thought of spending a summer morning in a hot classroom with a bunch of other kids, but I had no choice. I got to the classroom, and I was one of the first people there. Actually, I was the first one, but another girl was going into the same classroom as me at the same time. We sat down at the same table, and avoided each other's glance for a while. Finally one of us said hi. Slowly we started talking, and when the class started, we had to find partners. We looked at each other and had the same thought, and the rest was history.
Here is the second story: I woke up one morning, and was excited. I got to go back to preschool after the long weekend! I didn't know anyone, even though it was already late September. I imagined meeting someone. I was determined that it was going to finally happen today. I didn't know this then, but I was right. I got to preschool, and did my usual morning routine. I greeted my teachers, then immediatly went to a play phone to "call" my dad at work. I was afraid that if I didn't do this he would forget about me. Then I decided to play with the kitchen set, but then thought about finding a friend. I looked around, and everyone was playing with someone else, except one girl. She was playing with blocks. I gathered up all of my courage( which at age three was not a whole lot) and asked if I could play with her. She shyly nodded and we decided to make a house. The next time we had free time she came up to me and we made another, better, house. From then on, we always played together, and soon we became best friends.
Here is the third, and final story: I was excited, because I was going to the library. I loved to go there because I could get my very own books, and color on a huge piece of paper. I went to the children's section and looked for a good book. Finally I saw one that my preschool teacher had read to my class, and reached for it. At the same time, another girl reached for it. We both withdrew, and then I turned around and walked away. I went to the coloring table, and started to randomly draw. I was so caught up in my drawing, that I didn't notice that another girl sat down. It was the girl who had reached for the same book as me! I asked her if she wanted to make a picture together. She said that she did, and we made one of a field with a ton of flowers in it. Soon our mom's came up and exchanged names, but they thought that they would never see each other again. We went back to the library the following week. Once again, there was the girl! We remembered each other, and our mom's remembered each other so they exchanged phone numbers and we started playing with each other, and soon we were best friends.
I am going to post a poll where you can vote on which story you think is true. Anyways back to Maddiecat. We are in a book group together and I think it is awesome because we are both bibliophiles! ( Ones who love books.) We lend books to each other, and it is awsome. Even though we don't go to the same school, we still see each other pretty often. One amazing thing is that in the eight years that I've been friends with her, I can't remember one fight that we've gotton into! That was a post entirely about Maddiecat605, or Pebblesml15. Well that's all the time I have right now so bye and come back soon!
P.S. The true story might not be exactly the way we really met but the idea is the same.

Halloween!!!
Hey whats up I am Great-K8 and I am really excited for Halloween! What are you going to be? Post a comment telling me cuz i really want to know! I am going to be: a three hole punch version of Jim! If you watch the office you will understand it. I think I am one of the only people who will think to do that because it's not a very common costume. I am going to dress in a white button down shirt, black pants, and a red tie. Then I am going to take three black circles of paper and put them on one of the sides of the tie. It won't be touching the tie, they will kind of be on my stomach... get it? One of my friends is going to be someone in a red convertible, and idk about any of my other friends. One of them said that they usually don't decide until about 6:00 Halloween night! I could make my coustume at 5 minutes before I leave on Halloween night and still be on time! So remember: tell me what you are going to be and then in my next post I will thank you for paying attention and for reading my post and for frequently checking my blog. Layout, Stories, and Big Print
Hello people what's up I am Great-K8 and this is my blog!!! Now I have a riddle for you: What do Layout, Stories, and Big Print have in common? That's right: the newspaper! Now why I did this I am not sure. Maybe it's because I have to make a poster for a book for school, and for the title I am cutting newspaper letters out of the newspaper! I don't think anyone else will/ have thought of doing that! I can't wait to see people stop in the hall and look at my poster cuz it's unique! soooooo who can think of another joke? if you leave me jokes, ( and actually good ones not like what is black and white and red all over!) then i will put them in a post and give you credit for it... make sure u do it! cuz otherwise i will post a pic of me glaring at you and have nothing else, not even a title. just me there, glaring at you. and that should be a warning to you all: especially 2 me-rocks cuz she has seen my lemonade glare....

Hola!
Hola Que tal mi Great-K8! Yes i have titled a post this before and begun the post like that, but i couldn't think of a better title..... by the way in case you forgot que tal is what's up. I currently am on a six day weekend!!! Jealous? i thought you might be. I had a teacher in service day, then the two MEA days, then the regular weekend, then a marathon free day!! the marathon free day came because my school collected a total of $25,000! so because we did that we got a free day off of school! So is anything interesting going on? not really.. anything interesting going on in any of your lives? tell me! Well that's all the time I have for right now so bye and come back soon!

Correction
Hello People and Persons! I am Great-K8 and I have a correction to make! Me-Rocks would like a clarification that her name is not spelled merocks, but rather Me-Rocks. I am very sorry Me-Rocks, and if there is ever another spelling or any correction that needs to be made, leave me a comment and I will post a correction in my next post. I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first? The bad news? Good! I am really bored!!! Next the good news. I had no homework tonight!!! That's the first time this school year that it has happened! Even on the first day of school I had homework! How unfair is that? Well anyways I am really glad I have no homework.
